Kimberly Morgan joined Northern as Permit Coordinator in 2023.

Kimberly brings many years of permit and zoning experience to Northern, having worked at Palm Beach County in the Planning, Zoning and Building department.  At the County, she worked as a Permit Technician as well as a Zoning Technician reviewing and processing permits for residential and commercial projects.  She has also worked as a Permit Coordinator for a company that processes permits for FPL, so she understands both sides of the permit process. Kimberly is a Navy Veteran, serving as a Master at Arms and continues her service in the Navy Reserves.

• Reviews permits for conformance with the District policies and procedures.
• Performs a general review of all permit and plat applications; administrates the routing, tracking and recommendations of approval, or denial, of all permit and plats; Coordinates with District staff, the District Engineer, Landowners, outside consultants, and other governmental agencies as necessary to complete the review process in accordance with District policies.
• Performs detailed reviews of all “in-house” permit applications and recommends approval, or denial, of same to the District Engineer.
• Performs inspections of permitted activities or assigns inspection responsibility to outside consultants as needed.
